My take

L'OR's best blends are genuinely good: the Ristretto and Colombia came out near the top of an independent taste test, creamy and foamy. The problem is consistency across the range, with some blends called burnt or medicinal. Pick the Ristretto and you get an aluminum, 5.5 g-class pod that fits cleanly. Pick at random and you might get brown water with a nice label.
