$45 for the 50-ct variety at list (BrewSift, 2026-10-02); $0.53–0.59 a pod when the 25% clip coupon stacks with Subscribe & Save (seen 2026-09-06).

My take

This is the yardstick everything else gets measured against, and it earns the top spot. Nestlé publishes the dose (5 g espresso, 5.6 g ristretto, 5.8 g lungo), the capsule is aluminum, and it fits every OriginalLine machine perfectly because it is the spec. Buyers almost never call it watery. The catch is price: at list it's the most expensive pod here, so I only buy it when the clip coupon and Subscribe & Save stack and it drops to around 55 cents.

Buyers like

  • Consistent extraction and crema shot after shot
  • Perfect fit in Essenza, Pixie, CitiZ and every other OriginalLine machine
  • Huge range of blends

Buyers complain about

  • Expensive at list price
  • About 5 g of coffee, roughly half a café single shot, so lungo sizes can feel light
